A Prelude to Heaven

1987 - What a year! Tyson won his "Heavyweight World Championships"-Belt against James Smith... and this beautifull Prelude was born!



What we´ve got here...
What we´ve got here is one of the latest 2nd Gen Prelude - Built to compete with the Nissan Silvia, Mitsubishi Eclipse and others! Havin an A-Series Engine inside this car got no VTEC but the A20A3 (which says 2.0L and 110 bhp) modified with an Stage 1 Clutch still makes this old boy run quiet well! 

Back to the Future
This could have been the Motto of the Car Body´s Mods! 90% of all people walkin by would never recognize them! The Reason: Honda OEM Parts from later Models! The Front Bumper of this car was a former 3rd Generation-Prelude Part! Today it´s doin a good job on his older brothers front end! But even the bumper isn´t stock anymore: An Volvo Front Lip and JDM Foglights! Because there are just a few parts for this car the owner also took some Vizors from other Honda Models (EF´s in the front and CB´s at the rear) and adapted them to the Prelude! To get the "Daily Flushness"-Flair, Silbestre installed Mudflaps and a Hood Bra... AWESOME!

No Wheels... no Flushness!
Clear and simple! This car got everything... Flushness, Deep Dish, some Camber...and its low! This car is only lowered by Springs! Some people wouldn´t even go that low by usin Bags! The Rims absolutely match the style of the car: 15inch J Mag´s! Width: 8inch! Offset: 20+!


Final words...
To be honest this one of the most amazing Fancars I´ve ever seen! It´s just like a Prelude to Heaven...

When you need a descriptuion of the word "Awesome" just take a pictrue of this car and show it to someone!

Form = Function
The Form of this ´93 EG is proportional to it´s function! When you pop the hood you will find a monster: B18C4 with an CAI, an modified ECU and an Twin Loop OBX! Nice Sound guaranteed!

SuperSpension
You can´t say this car is to high! Antishocks and Springs are brought to you by Tein (it´s the Basic-Susp with modified Springs)! To get a better Handling the owner installed Stabilizers from Honda (from VTI-Model), a Front-Bar from D1 and an modified X-Bar! But you can´t just go fast trough a corner without thinkin about how to stop the car! In this case 262mm Rear-Discs and 239mm Front-Discs are calmin you down! So just relax...

What a body!

This Body look spectacular even if there are just a few mods! The Front-Lip is an VTI-Part! Rear Spoiler and the Mirrors are from Spoon! Some Tow Hooks and we´re done... WAIT! Rims & Spacers! These are XXR 501s with an size of 8x15 and ET 15 on 165 and 175/50R15 Tyres with 5mm Spacers! How did he get them under those fenders? Two simple words: Camber Kit! Looks super-duper flush!

Let´s take a look inside

The Base of this interior was taken out of an VTI-Model too! Modified with Sport Seats and Takata-Seat-Belts you don´t have to fear some hard corners! The Speedometer was built by Spoon and it got an Razo-Shift Knob! Absolutly important to a nioce handling: A steering wheel by Momo!

In the good old Days...

In 2001 it was possible to get attention by buying a Civic Coupe with black paint and a green underglow kit and start robbin Trucks! Nowadays it´s much more difficult to get respect while drivin a Civic Coupé! But Fabian made it! His Coupe is not one of this spoilered-to-death-ones! It´s lookin stock but although well muscled!  It´s an...

...Hybrid Form!

Of course it´s no hybrid drive! The B16A2 is only
runnin on 95 RON! The Engine was modified with
an B18 Parts and an CAI (Cold Air Intake) at the
intakeside! The Exhaust was built out of an Bisimoto
V2-Header, an "Kaido Autosport" Cat, SRS Pipes
and a Spoon Muffler! The Engine Bay was cleaned
and painted purple!


Low for Show? Low for Life!
No actin as if! This car has got strut barsand is  lowered by DTS Coilovers which were modified by the ZRT-Garage-Team! The wheel fitment is superb! Usin 16inch Lenso BSX (Width 7,5 inch, Offset 25) on "Evo S1" 195/40s this car looks  like the King of Flushness...

Body Building
The car body got some understatement mods! Shaded corner lights, air deflectors and a BYS Style Lip! This car is not tryin to catch attention...! Only insiders can appreciate!

Blitzkrieg!

Abmarsch! Right, this is Royal Flushness and yes, it´s a BM-Dub! This is an co-operation of  "The Lower Life" and "Royal Flushness"! And here we go...


For Drift-use only!?
This E36 is a Drift machine in the true sense of the word! 25% locked Differential makes the ass of this car movin sideways everytime the driver wants fun! The back axle was a former M-Part just like the whole bodykit! And even it´s not "the big one" it´s still fun!

Function plus Form makes Swag

Leather Interior, Roof Rack, yellow fog lights... this car follows a mixture of Form and Function and it´s doin well!    

2.5 Litre, 6 Cylinder, 189 bhp! Nothin to mess with! Even the engine is stock instead of an stainless steel exhaust system which gives the enigne a nice roar!

Cliffhangin...

This story is still not at its end! There is a lot to do and we may re-post the car in time... with some brand new and hot mods! Thanks to "Lower Life" especially to Johnny Chimpo  for a nice car, some nice Pics and for being a real good friend!

Flushness at it´s best!

Your highness... eeeh flushness...!

It´s difficult to find a word for what you are lookin at!  I looks kind of majestic when this car leaves home to "run" the streets! Well, Downtown it´s like a queen walkin on the red carpet but on highway you would look in the mirror and see Usain Bolt flyin by!

Clothes make the man... and even shoes can! As you can see this boy is walkin on 15 inch BBS and he is lowerd by D2 coilovers! The other parts of the susepnsion are homemade by Honda: Integra strut barce and front brake (usin Greenstuff pads)! The rear one is from the EK4 model usin Blackstuff pads!

Only based on the original is the engine! It´s a swapped and modified D16Y8! New Intake header from Bisimoto, Spoon street type muffler and Backpipe!

So, let´s take a look inside the car!

Recaro seats and spoon parts - that guy isgoin to be serious! That guy is Michael from the Zolwik Racing Team! When I asked him if he did all of these modifications on his own he answered: 

Self do, self have!

Only the car body is left and ofcourse we´ll take a look at that one too! "Honda Parts? -Yes, SiR!"  The SiR-Front lip looks stock but stylish! The Headlights are from EK9! And the icing on the cake:

Mainstream? Hell, no!

There it is! 

This ED3 is messin with all the mainstream shit even if it´s already 20 years old! Short History lesson: The 4. generation of the Honda Civic was built from 1987 to 1991! It was one of the first Civics which was available with catalyst! Most Engines were D-Series (D13/14/15/16)! Only to versions were available with the brand new B16A1! This one was built in 1991 so it´s one of the last ones, powered by a D15B2 and, well... back to it´s story!







His owner - by the way it´s Johnny Chimpo from "The Lower Life"- used H&R coilovers to explain the meanin of the word "low" to the world! The all black rims from Exip are givin this ride an old school-look but the roof rack makes it say: "Fuck you, I AM oldschool, man!" and the short RAM Intake is givin it a touch of Performance! And to make this car an Allrounder Johnny placed some Stickerbomb-elements on the car body!

Finally we can say:
